Vietnam – Craftbeauty

Craftbeauty was developed in 2003 by a husband and wife team in the center of Vietnam. We went to visit them in 2010. They provide extensive training in tailoring to empower disadvantaged women in the community, some in which were affected by Agent Orange.

They also work with women in the rural communities to produce fine embroidery work, mother of pearl items and fine silk fabrics. To help this group grow and help add more staff members we gave them funds to purchase, fans, tables, chairs, a refrigerator and a sewing machine to enable them to produce their craft.
